I am a PhD candidate at the University of Twente. I am currently working on DNS DDoS Prevention and Protection in the MADDVIPR (Mapping DNS DDoS Vulnerabilities to Improve Protection and Prevention) Project, a collaboration between the University of Twente and the Center for Applied Internet Data Analysis (CAIDA-UCSD).
The main goal of my research is to analyse and characterize the DDoS attacks against DNS. The project will also lead a focus on misconfigurations and vulnerabilities of DNS, measuring their spread, possible countermeasures and the impact of possible attacks performed through their exploitation.
I have obtained my MSc degree in Computer Engineering at Polytechnic of Turin with a thesis on programmable high speed dataplane with XDP and SmartNIC technologies.
